I was excited at the idea of coordinates collection to put down the coordinates of where my wife and I met and have it stamped on a piece of jewelry she would always wear. I decided to purchase the Fjord necklace and had our coordinates and wedding date engraved.

The total was around $200. I presented the gift to my wife for our first wedding anniversary. It has not even been 2 years and despite following all of the care instructions provided, the piece is tarnished, and the chain has broken twice. The first time it broke was just after a year and conveniently outside the warranty period.

I called customer service to see if they could assist me, but stated there was nothing they could do. Since it was much more to mail and have the necklace repaired at their facility I chose to go to my trusted jeweler where I purchased my wife's wedding ring and band. They fixed the chain and offered to polish the piece. I received a call from them that they could not polish the piece for risk of tarnishing the piece further.

This just after one year of having the piece and following Coordinates care directions. Within one month of having the piece back the chain broke again. I know the jeweler I went to is not at fault because they did a phenomenal job on repairing and restoring a gold chain at the same time and there were no problems with that. Overall I feel that this company creates cheap pieces of jewelry.

Their platform is on providing sentiment for a lifetime when if actuality their jewelry doesn't last one year.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. In fact I feel someone could find better quality jewelry in the clearance rack at an accessorizing store.

Unfortunately when items are out of our 1-year warranty period, there is a small fee required from our manufacturers to repair.
